The pandemic has not been easy for everybody. It has and continues to wreak havoc on the entire world, and to this day, we don’t know when it will end. This fear of uncertainty is causing undue stress, but there are ways to stop that.

What we need is some good pampering to help us relax during these dark times. But how can we, if all the spas and salons are closed?

Well, that’s what I’m here for. In this article, I’m going to teach how you can treat yourself with a pedicure at home! Who says your nails shouldn’t look amazing just because no one else will see them?

Notice that whenever you’re in a salon, the nail technician follows certain steps to achieve those clean and stylish nails? Those steps are exactly what I’ll teach you today - but using our own tools and equipment. With some determination and positivity, there’s nothing you can’t do!

So sit back, relax, and sip on some wine as I give you a detailed walkthrough of the perfect DIY pedicure.

1. Gather Your Tools

Gather Your Tools

The first step to getting clean and polished nails is gathering the tools you need. You’ll need a basin (for soaking those lovely feet), a nail file, trimmer, pumice stone, polish remover, cotton, cuticles oil, pusher, toe separators, base coat, polish, and topcoat.

Sounds like a lot? Well, don’t worry, all these things are affordable and you probably already have them at home! Plus, you’ll be able to use these tools for a long time, so consider it a good investment.

Oh, and if you really want that real spa experience, get an exfoliator and lotion for your legs and toes as well.
